End of year conference and awards ceremony.

Event | 15 July 2023

Priya Mohapatra, one of our Digital Skills Tutors, along with several learners from one of our Essential Digital Skills for Everyday Life courses attended the Lambeth Adult Learning (LAL) Conference and Awards Ceremony.

The awards event was attended by tutors and learners from across London, including Lesley Robinson, Head of Adult Learning, Skills and Employment at London Borough of Lambeth, plus other LAL training providers.

Our partnership with Lambeth Adult Learning (LAL), provides education and training opportunities for individuals aged 19 and above, equipping them with the necessary skills to secure employment and enhance their overall well-being. As a training provider, we also provide pre-employment training which includes guaranteed interviews for real jobs, and a Good Work for All programme, providing qualifications in London’s growth industries for anyone ready to move into work.

Our Essential Digital Skills for Everyday Life learning group, who have shown a real passion and eagerness to learn and grow with their digital skills, were nominated for the Outstanding Learner Group Awards. Priyah was also nominated for the Best Tutor Award by Lambeth Adult Learning in the EOYC for her dedication in working with diversified learners, unlocking their potential and tailoring her training to suit each individual learner. Whilst we didn’t win this time, we were proud of the nominations.
