If you are a resident in temporary housing and are currently unemployed, or working less than 16 hours a week, the Right Step into Work programme can help you. A dedicated employment specialist will provide you with one-to-one support and create a personalised plan to help you back into work and find long-term housing.

What’s the eligibility criteria?
The Right Step into Work programme has been designed to support people who live in Waltham Forest and:
Are unemployed or working less than 16 hours a week.
Living in zones A & B.
Have the right to reside and enter employment in England.
Aged 18+ or have a child over the age of 12.
Living in temporary housing.
Working with Waltham Forest Council teams (Housing, Employment, Leaving Care).
