We are proud to announce the acquisition of Talentino! Ltd, the leading national SEND careers education provider.
Established in 2011, Talentino has become a leading voice in early career development for young people with SEND.
Talentino offers unique products including programmes and resources designed to develop career support for young people with SEND, bespoke training and consultancy alongside thought leadership activities.
Under Get Set UK, Talentino will provide an inclusive career offer that starts in the heart of mainstream and special education and results in an end-to-end ‘value chain of early career development’ from Early Years into adulthood
Jenny Connick FRSA, Talentino Founder, has spent over a decade championing greater support for disadvantaged young people across the UK. With an established network of special schools, schools and colleges across the country, Talentino has also been the national partner for SEND and Inclusion for The Careers & Enterprise Company since 2018 as well as many other leading bodies linked to careers, schools and young people. Talentino is the provider of choice for SEND careers support.
Focus will be on supporting the acceleration and expansion of the inspiring work the Talentino team already delivers for young people.
Both organisations have a strong social purpose, to improve employment outcomes for the disadvantaged and are well placed to expand through sharing knowledge and networks to further our ambition for equal opportunities for all.
Thomas Harley FIEP FRSA, CEO of Get Set UK, said: “I am thrilled to announce that Get Set UK has acquired Talentino Ltd, a leader in SEND careers education. Under the leadership of Jenny, Talentino truly supports thousands of young people with special educational needs and disabilities, by providing the tools and resources necessary to make careers guidance accessible and engaging.
Ensuring effective careers guidance is available to all is crucial to address the widening disability gap across the UK. This acquisition aligns with our mission to provide equal opportunities for everyone, especially those who are disadvantaged.
Together, we will continue to create more inclusive and supportive pathways to employment, ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to achieve their full potential”.
Jenny Connick, Founder of Talentino, said: “I am delighted that Talentino is joining Thomas’s team at Get Set UK. Both our organisations reflect the same values and mission, to improve outcomes for vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals. Get Set UK will enable Talentino to accelerate the delivery of its social purpose and we will add value to each other. With a new visible commitment nationally to place inclusion at the heart of mainstream, together we can provide a significant value chain of career development”.
Welcome to the team, Talentino! Ltd!
