Get Set for an award winning collaboration.

We are excited to announce that we are finalists at The Quality Professionals Awards in the ‘Quality Collaboration of the Year’ category.

Get Set UK partnered with Belina Grow CIC a community interest company that empowers women and parents who are currently unemployed and supports their transition into work, education, and training on the Grow programme to provide a new way of engaging and delivering high-quality funded skills and training courses to help women back into work.

Working closely with Grow we listened to the needs and requirements of this varied group of women and created a Teaching Assistant course that was personalised to their needs. Our main priority was to deliver a course that could be accessed online, at home, within school hours, and with in-person teaching. These were very busy women, with full lives!

As well as receiving a NCFE Level 2 Award in Support Work in Schools, an employer-recognised award, upon course completion we guaranteed our learners a job interview, supporting them even further in their next steps back into employment.

The quality of the training and the focus on the needs of the individual ensured that women who usually don’t get the chance to participate in training were able to get qualified. They really appreciated the tutor and the approach.”
