Alla’s success story.

Alla Scraba joined our Multiply programme in late May, aiming to improve her numeracy, IT, and business skills. Originally from Eastern Europe, her main challenge was overcoming the language barrier.

To support her, Edgar Muzvidzwa, her Get Set UK Multiply Trainer, tailored the sessions to suit her needs. He used more visual methods, as Alla felt more confident reading than speaking. Edgar also introduced practical skills and activities focused on safeguarding against financial scams.

Alla successfully completed the Practical Budgeting and Number Skills course and, with Edgar’s guidance, has now progressed to an IT Business course with Momentic. Reflecting on her journey, Alla said, “I’ve learnt so much and couldn’t be happier – thank you.”
