Skills for Life & Work is a free vocational training programme for Belfast school leavers, designed to help you build confidence, gain qualifications and kick-start your career, all while earning £40 a week.
Choose from four training areas, Admin & Management, Creative & Digital, IT & ICT, and Retail & Customer Care, designed to help you learn practical skills, meet new people and get ready for work, further training or an apprenticeship.
Through practical learning and real-life experience, you’ll build the confidence and workplace skills to move forward, and the great thing is, it can open the door to lots of different opportunities for your future.
We will soon be delivering Skills for Life & Work from our new Belfast office.
If school is coming to an end and you’re unsure what to do next, this programme gives you the chance to build new skills, gain recognised qualifications, and grow in confidence. You’ll train towards a specific career area, combining practical learning with the essential skills employers are looking for, helping you move closer to work, an apprenticeship, or further training, all while earning £40 a week.
