Kai’s success story.

Kai Shawn Dwyer was referred to Get Set UK to participate in the Restart Scheme by his local job centre. Kai has recently signed with a major music label and for him to progress he needed to pass his maths GCSE. His employment advisor enrolled him on our Multiply course to help him boost his skills before resitting his maths GCSE.

Sharon Marie Brown Brown, Get Set UK Multiply Trainer, worked with Kai to understand his weaknesses and tailored the sessions to meet his needs. The tutorials were paced at Kai’s speed of learning and he requested additional ’stretch and challenge’ activities to challenge him.

It didn’t take long for Kai to complete the Improve Your Numeracy Skills course. He also wanted to further his knowledge with our Budget and Income course so he could understand the basics of accounting and tax systems for his music production business. Kai has now enrolled on our Function Skills course where he has booked additional Multiply sessions with Sharon.
