Get Set for boosting skills and finding employment with the Refugee Employability Programme.

The Refugee Employability Programme (REP) provides essential support to help refugees build skills, find employment, and integrate into their local communities. Each participant is matched with a dedicated Case Manager who tailors support to their individual needs – ensuring they have the right guidance to settle, upskill, and secure meaningful work.

Our REP Case Managers empower participants to become self-sufficient, offering training opportunities that open doors to employment, financial independence, and active contribution to life in the UK.

“Getting this job means so much to me. I feel like I am finally able to move forward in my life. The support I got, from CV preparation to interview advice, was amazing. My Case Manager, Sardar Zazai registered me for the course and guided me through the entire process until I successfully received my SIA badge. After that, he sent me job opportunities, including links, contact numbers, and helpful resources for jobs in the security industry. He also prepared me for the interview with Arena Group and guided me step by step, from creating my CV to mock interview prep. He shared other job opportunities with me, which helped me feel like I have more options. Now, I have a job as a Site Operative with Arena Group, and I couldn’t be more grateful. This programme is so beneficial, not just for me but for all refugees. I deeply appreciate the support I’ve received from Sardar and the Refugee Employability Programme.”

“I am so happy to have a job. I really enjoy working as a Site Operative at Arena Group. My REP Case Manager, Sardar Zazai, helped me a lot. He worked with me to build my confidence and supported me in every step of the process. He helped me create a CV, prepare for interviews and registered me on a CSCS training course. I passed the training and am now preparing for the CITB test using the materials Sardar gave me. Sardar guided me on what to expect during the interview and supported me with interview techniques so I felt prepared. Even after starting the job, he is still supporting me through the in-work support programme. I am very thankful for everything he has done because it made a big difference in my life.”

“I joined the REP programme because I had a dream of starting a career in the beauty industry, but had no idea where to begin. I admired the creativity and skill involved in beauty treatments, but I lacked the knowledge and confidence to take that first step. The idea of enrolling in a course or applying for jobs felt overwhelming. The team helped me believe in myself and guided me through each step of the process, from choosing the right course to ensuring I had all the resources I needed to succeed.
