At Get Set UK, we empower businesses to create inclusive workplaces through the Get Set for Work programme. Amy McManus, our dedicated Employer Consultant, has been working closely with Rachael at Uniform7 to help the organisation progress within the Disability Confident scheme.
Amy and Rachael collaborated to develop a customised strategy that has successfully led Uniform 7 to achieve Disability Confident Tier 2 status. This milestone highlights the company’s commitment to recruiting, retaining, and supporting employees with disabilities, ensuring equal opportunities for all. Looking ahead, Rachael has set an ambitious goal of reaching Tier 3 by the end of the year.
Driving change through collaboration
Uniform 7’s progress within the Disability Confident scheme is a testament to Rachael’s dedication to creating an inclusive workplace. By taking proactive steps, she is positioning Uniform 7 as a leader in disability inclusion, inspiring other organisations to follow suit. Her efforts are further supported by ongoing engagement with The Better Health Generation – United Kingdom webinars, demonstrating a continued commitment to learning and improvement.
