Hamdi’s success story.

“I stayed on a park bench at night. It was cold and unsafe. Sometimes it rained,” Hamdi shared.

Recognising the urgency of Hamdi’s situation, his REP Case Manager, Yelyzaveta Stepanishyna, stepped in immediately. She provided CV support, interview preparation, and helped him apply to Emmaus, a charity offering both accommodation and employment opportunities. Following a successful interview, Hamdi was given a safe place to stay. “I am warm, I have a bed, I am happy,” he expressed.

With a secure place to call home, Hamdi has taken his first steps toward independence. He recently secured a volunteer role at a local coffee shop, gaining valuable skills and work experience that will help him build a sustainable future.
