The Good Health @Work programme (GH@W) helps small and medium-sized businesses across Suffolk embed meaningful workplace wellbeing practices. Funded by Suffolk County Council and delivered by Get Set UK, the programme supports employers to build happier, healthier workplace while working towards a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award.
RSZ Accountancy, based in Ipswich and known for their modern, digital approach to supporting small businesses, joined the programme to create an even stronger, people-centred workplace. Their networking events alone show the kind of culture they’ve built, welcoming, organised and effortlessly positive. Gemma Addison and the team were already doing so many things right.
They didn’t need a complete overhaul, just the opportunity, time and structure to refine what they already had in place. Together, with GH@W Employer Consultant, :Gail Jones MIEP Jones, they explored simple, meaningful ways to:
✅Strengthen internal communication
✅Encourage honest conversations
✅Build intentional wellbeing practices
✅Involve employees more closely in day-to-day decisions
Every suggestion was met with enthusiasm. Every conversation sparked ideas. They used the programme not just to “tick boxes”, but to intentionally strengthen the culture they already lived every day.
And the result?
RSZ Accounting proudly achieved the Good Health @Work Bronze Award! The process opened up new conversations within their team, created space for employees to share ideas, and added clarity around the brilliant wellbeing approach they already had in place.
This is exactly what workplace wellbeing should look like: practical, people-focused, and built on a culture that already cares.
