Alex’s success story.

Alex Humphrey was referred to the Restart Scheme as he was unemployed and struggling to find a job that would fit around his home life. He attended the Coffee Morning sessions we run in our Havant outreach centre where he met our Employment Advisors and got the opportunity to discuss employment options, update his CV and support with interview techniques.

Alex and Cheryl Bartlett, his Employment Advisor worked with our Employer Services Team to find him a driving role that would fit around his childcare requirements. Cheryl supported Alex with creating a new CV that was tailored to the role he was applying for. Alex applied for a role with 24/7 Driving, secured himself an interview and was offered a part-time role.

Alex commented: “Thank you so much, it is much appreciated, I cannot wait to start. Thank you again for finding this role for me.”

His Employment Advisor, Cheryl Bartlett commented: “It is fantastic news that Alex has secured a job. This role is perfect for Alex as he is great with people and enjoys driving. It is brilliant he has now found a job that he will enjoy. He has been a pleasure to work with.”
