Thomas’s success story.

When Thomas Ennis, 21, first visited our Havant office, he had been out of work for more than two years and was struggling with confidence. Living with cerebral palsy, he faced self-imposed barriers that impacted both his self-esteem and his job search, but Thomas was ready to take a step forward.

With support from Ryan Hughes and our Employer Relationship Team, Thomas joined our confidence-building sessions. Together, they refreshed his CV, practised mock interviews, and built his job-seeking skills. We connected him with a local coffee shop role, while Ryan and his tutors helped him rebuild his self-belief.

The result? After a successful interview, Thomas secured a barista position and is completing his barista qualification. Each working day, he is gaining transferable skills, rediscovering his confidence, and opening new doors for the future.
