The Good Health @Work programme helps small and medium-sized businesses across Suffolk embed meaningful workplace wellbeing practices. Funded by Suffolk County Council and delivered by Get Set UK, the programme supports employers to build happier, healthier teams with free resources, support from a GH@W Navigator and the opportunity to work towards a Good Health @Work Award.
Christies Care has always been passionate about creating a supportive and healthy workplace for its employees. From wellbeing initiatives to ongoing professional development opportunities, the organisation already had a strong culture in place. But while many of their efforts were well established, they hadn’t previously brought everything together into a single framework to showcase the full impact of their work.
That’s where the Good Health @Work programme made a difference. With guidance from their GH@W Navigator, Laura Graham-Clarke, Christies Care was supported to navigate the awards process, refining what they already had in place, evidencing their work, and highlighting the incredible culture they had built.
Working closely with the Christies Care team, Laura supported them through the awards process, using the Resource Hub to refine and evidence their efforts. Rather than starting from scratch, it was all about celebrating and building on what they were already doing so well.
Having already achieved Bronze and Silver, the team has now proudly reached Gold Award status. This milestone not only recognises their long-standing commitment to workplace wellbeing but also provides a platform for them to continue building and innovating.
Christies Care commented: “We are delighted to have been awarded the GH@W Gold Award! This achievement reflects the dedication and passion of our team, and we’re especially grateful to Laura for her energy and support. The process has given us a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the incredible work we do every day, and we couldn’t be prouder.”
Laura Graham-Clarke, GH@W Navigator, commented: “It’s been an absolute pleasure supporting Christies Care on this journey. Their commitment to wellbeing shines through in everything they do, and this award is a true reflection of their passion and hard work.”
