A Work and Health Programme participant has gained confidence and acquired a variety of skills and competencies in just a few months, allowing him to find new employment very soon.
Work and Health Programme | 04 November 2022
The participant is a 38-year-old man who has been out of work for a long time. He only recently joined the Work and Health Programme, but he has been very motivated and active in looking for job opportunities and giving all interviews a chance.
The participant had an initial appointment with the onboarding team, who worked with the advisor to get him into the SKY Saga workshop.
Following that, the advisor and the participant identified the key objectives and discussed possible job goals and aspirations. A tailored action plan was developed to ensure that all areas of assistance were covered.
During each appointment, he has demonstrated his interest and motivation by asking questions and accepting all of the opportunities and activities that the advisor would recommend for him. The Employment Advisor has assisted the participant by providing valuable advice and examining various job search and interview techniques. As a result of these activities, the participant now understands the types of jobs he wants to find and the skills he can use in the future.
After only two months on the programme, the participant is even more motivated to find work and more open to new opportunities. He wishes to return to work as soon as possible.
‘’My experience with Jessica as my advisor has been wonderful as I have benefited from her support, help and wisdom. Throughout the time I have spent with Jessica she has behaved in a professional manner and has never failed to go the extra mile if needed. I have learned a lot from Jessica and hope to continually improve from the services she has offered me. Thank you.’’
