Starting January with a bang, with job fairs across three of our offices!

Our Employment Advisors and Employer Services Team were on hand providing one-to-one support, CV advice and guidance and advice on training courses to help attendees with their job search.  

Employers interviewed and recruited for jobs in several sectors including Retail, Cleaning, Logistics, Warehouse, Customer Service & Hospitality and Education. 

The two floors in our Crawley office were filled with learners, ready to find employment. The team opened the doors to over 80 people with 6 people being offered an interview on the spot, 10 were offered trial shifts, and over 30 completed job applications with follow-up workshops already booked. Our Portsmouth office welcomed over 150 participants eager to find out about the jobs available to them in their local community. The day was a huge success with over 50% of the participants put forward for interviews by our employer partners including Hayes Recruitment, Employment4All, Mitie and Travelodge Hotels – you can read more about it here 

The team at our Camberwell office welcomed over 100 participants with pre-scheduled interviews for 40 participants with one of our partner employers, Arena Group. Throughout the day the team advised people on the skills and training opportunities available to them, and the National Career Service were on hand to offer career advice and guidance. It was another successful event with over 10 job offers, 2nd stage interviews arranged and further support for CSCS candidates.
