  • Curriculum frameworks, safeguarding, knowledge of policies and processes and how to handle information responsibly.

  • Policies and procedures that support social and emotional well-being, and their theoretical foundations.

  • Principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion with a focus on sustainability in education.

  • How to apply learning theories backed by research and evidence.

  • Where and how to access specialist support for learners.

What to Expect from
Your Employer.

Your employer must give you the chance to regularly put your learning into practice to help you build real workplace experience and develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours you need to complete your Apprenticeship.

You will be supported with:

  • Using digital tools and new technology to boost learning and enhance educational outcomes.

  • Tracking progress through regular assessments and using insights to shape future teaching.

  • Planning engaging curriculums that align with key education frameworks.

  • Connecting learners with the right professional support when needed.

  • Championing equality, diversity, and inclusion in every learning space.

  • Reflecting on teaching practices and learner outcomes on a regular basis.

Completing Your Apprenticeship.

Every Apprenticeship ends with an End Point Assessment (EPA). This is your chance to show everything you’ve learned, the knowledge, skills, and behaviours you’ve built throughout your training. The EPA is carried out by an independent assessor and may include practical tasks, written tests, or an interview, depending on your Apprenticeship. Successfully passing your EPA proves your competence and earns you a recognised qualification, setting you up for the next stage in your career.
