Dalia’s success story.

Dalia Begum, aged 27, was referred to the Restart Scheme in our Ilford office for employment support as she was new to the UK. Dalia’s Get Set UK Employment Advisor, Nida Husain, worked with her to create a personal plan to support her with interview techniques, completing job applications and how to find a suitable role.

Nida supported Dalia in creating a new CV and guided her to apply for roles which best suited her skill set, encouraging her to apply for a housekeeping position with Travelodge. After being accepted for an interview, Nida and Dalia spent some time practising interview questions and watching YouTube videos to help Dalia understand the roles and responsibilities of the role.

With Nida’s support, Dalia was successful in her interview and secured a new job within one month of joining the Restart Scheme. Dalia commented: “Nida is very helpful. She helped me arrange my interview and supported me with my interview prep.”
