Feriba’s success story.

What was Feriba’s situation?

Feriba Almas, 25, a participant of our Refugee Employability Programme (REP) expressed her interest in a career in journalism and wanted to develop her English language and communication skills to understand job/work-related vocabulary which would help her with job offers descriptions, interview questions and job offers.

REP Employment Advisor, Yelyzaveta Stepanishyna, enrolled Feriba on our Skills for Work ESOL course to develop her English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills and prepare her to find a new full-time role. Lyz and ESOL trainer, Ewa Haladus, are also providing Feriba with employment support, and are working closely with her to help progress in her classes and become familiar with job search vocabulary
