The Restart Scheme, delivered by Get Set UK on behalf of our partner G4S, is designed to help people break through barriers and move closer to sustainable work.

When 20-year-old Mustafa Naser first arrived at our Bootle office, he had limited work experience and faced the additional challenge of a language barrier. Working closely with his dedicated Employment Advisors, ANTHONY BURNS and Tim Dwyer, Mustafa joined our ESOL classes to strengthen his communication skills and boost his confidence.

Initially, Mustafa had his sights set on a career in construction. But after a few inspiring conversations, his ambitions grew, and he began to see the possibility of becoming his own boss and building an independent future on his own terms.

With consistent guidance from Anthony and Tim, Mustafa explored self-employment opportunities, and they helped him register for his UTR number, a requirement to be self-employed and to set up an Uber account. Developing new skills and overcoming the challenges in his way, step by step, Mustafa’s determination and hard work paid off, and he is now ready to begin his self-employment journey.

To support him on this exciting path, we’ve provided Mustafa with a brand-new bike, giving him the freedom to accept jobs and travel easily. Mustafa’s achievement is a fantastic milestone, showing just how far you can go with the right support, commitment, and self-belief.
