Rebuilding confidence, renewing purpose. Chloe’s journey back to work.

When Chloe Kruszynsky joined the Work Wise Programme, she was at a crossroads. After a period of self-doubt and uncertainty, she felt overwhelmed by the idea of restarting her job search. Like many people navigating a break in employment, Chloe didn’t just need advice; she needed self-belief.

Building confidence and skills for success.

Chloe received personalised coaching designed not only to develop practical job-seeking skills, but to rebuild her confidence and help her rediscover her strengths.

Using the IPS (Individual Placement and Support) model, Chloe and her Get Set UK Employment Specialist, Thomas Kenney, worked on:

Identifying her skills and transferable experience
Refreshing her CV, introducing tailored job search strategies and how to network effectively
Practising interview techniques to help her feel more confident and in control
Focusing on her mindset, addressing self-doubt with confidence-building sessions and shifting to a more positive outlook

Instead of feeling stuck and unsure of her next move, Chloe is now actively applying for roles with a clear strategy and a renewed belief in her abilities. She has already received encouraging responses to applications and is preparing for interviews,  something she previously felt too anxious to even consider. Her mindset has shifted, and she’s embracing the process with energy and optimism.

Chloe shared: “Since joining the Work Wise Programme, I’ve found it incredibly helpful, especially in job searching, interview preparation, and CV tailoring. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for work and needing that extra support. A big thank you to the Get Set UK team!”

Working alongside Surrey County Council, Work Wise focuses on support services for individuals looking for long-term paid employment, employees who need support to continue in their current role and employers who are looking to become more inclusive.

Employment Specialist Thomas Kenney commented: “Supporting Chloe has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my role. From our first meeting, it was clear she had potential; she just needed structured guidance and someone to remind her of her value. Now, she’s focused, motivated, and excited for what lies ahead.”
