Soyeda’s success story.

Soyeda Begum, aged 21, was referred to the Restart Scheme at our Portsmouth office after being unemployed for just under a year. Previously working in retail Soyeda started to suffer from anxiety and depression which led to panic attacks.

Toby Franklin, Get Set UK Employment Advisor and Kirsty Gladdis, Health and Wellbeing Co-ordinator, supported Soyeda by creating a personalised plan that supported her wellbeing and encouraged her to regain her confidence to start looking for a new role.

With her confidence boosted, Soyeda attended one of our workshops run by our Employer Services Team where she took an interest in a Customer Advisor role for HMRC. The team supported her with her application and how she could approach a video interview with HMRC. Soyeda was placed on a shortlist and offered the position.
