Impact on the Community

We will create a comprehensive but simple-to-use repository website for SMEs to use as a “one-stop shop” for information, advice, guidance, tools, services, and interventions to help them create and grow a healthy workplace/workforce. Our vision for the Resource Hub is that it will have full coverage of main health domains, e.g., MSK wellness, physical safety, risk of disease, dangerous occurrences, obesity/fitness, emotional safety, psychological wellbeing. The aim is to encourage good work and health for all across the Suffolk area.

Purpose of the job and what you will achieve

In this role, you will oversee the creation, maintenance, and ongoing development of a resource hub designed to provide valuable information to local companies and individuals. The hub will focus on promoting good workplace practices for disabled and neurodiverse people, enhancing health and well-being within the workplace.

Your day-to-day job

  • Lead the design and development of the resource hub, ensuring it meets the needs of the local business and community members.
  • Maintain and update the resource hub with the latest research and best practices in workplace health, particularly regarding disability and neurodiversity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input and ensure the resource hub is effective and user-friendly.
  • Monitor and report on the usage and impact of the resource hub, providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Promote the resource hub through various channels to maximise reach and impact.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Well-developed written language, able to clearly articulate and summarise a range of information.
  • Skilled in research & validation and able to identify good practice models, national frameworks, and local initiatives, and to validate them against credible evidence-bases.
  • Content management experience.
  • Strong understanding of good workplace health principles and practices, especially relating to disabled and neurodiverse individuals.
  • Proactive, ensuring that content is identified and added to the repository, with partners informed as new services are listed.
