Purpose of the job and what you will achieve

In this role, you will engage and support SMEs in the Suffolk area to deliver better workplaces for good work and health across the Suffolk area. You will address gaps in resources and assess where suitable solutions can be developed.

Your day-to-day job

  • Engage with small and medium business in the Suffolk area.
  • Address gaps in resources and address whether suitable solutions are within scope of development.
  • Develop suitable solutions to address gaps.
  • Use existing products and training to drive value.
  • Develop full knowledge of already available interventions so as not to duplicate.
  • Ensure that all interventions are adaptable to structural change.
  • Develop sustainable interventions such as training and webinars that can be recorded for future use.
  • Work closely with partner consultants allocated to the service to help with the scoping of new interventions.
  • Gather feedback to evolve the service.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Well-developed written and verbal communication, able to clearly articulate and summarise a range of information.
  • Experienced in problem solving.
  • Experienced in action planning.
  • Strong understanding of good workplace health principles and practices, especially relating to disabled and neurodiverse individuals.
  • Good networking and partnership building experience.
  • Knowledge of the Suffolk labour market.
