Awareness days | 17 March 2025
Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a global initiative challenging misconceptions about neurological differences like Dyslexia, Dyspraxia (DCD), Dyscalculia, Autism, and ADHD.
Instead of seeing these as difficulties, neurodiversity encourages us to focus on both the strengths and challenges that make each person unique. With 15-20% of the population being neurodivergent, embracing different thinking styles helps create a more inclusive and supportive world for everyone.
Join us throughout the week this week to break the stigma, champion inclusion, and celebrate the incredible strengths that neurodivergent individuals bring to our teams.
⭐ All our offices will be hosting Neurodiversity Quizzes – fun and interactive sessions with colleagues and learners.
⭐ The Get Set for Work team are delivering a Lunch & Learn on Communication & Unconscious Bias with Neurodiverse Employees at Tendring District Council and will also be spreading awareness about neurodiversity at High Chelmer Shopping Centre on the 19th March.
⭐Team members are sharing their experiences as neurodiverse individuals and ways to create a supportive workplace environment.
⭐The Good Health at Work team is hosting a Mental & Physical Wellbeing Workshop on the 20th of March at Suffolk New College, Ipswich.
⭐ The Work Wise team are hosting online and in-person sessions on working with neurodiverse colleagues.
⭐The REP team are holding an open discussion for refugees to learn about neurodiversity and its impact.
We’ll be sharing information, insights, and support on neurodiversity every day throughout the week, keep checking in to stay informed and get involved!
