Job Purpose:

  • Effectively drive commercial growth by managing relationships with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate expertise by working with a team of trainers on a project supporting newly unemployed individuals.
  • Efficiently manage your time, demonstrating responsibility, drive, and focus to ensure all tasks are completed on time.
  • Showcase willingness to learn and develop industry-specific knowledge and skills, contributing to improved practice and career development.
  • Provide consistent support to a large caseload of learners, enabling them to feel more confident and achieve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver accredited courses (Support in Teaching and Learning for Schools Level 3) in line with our vision and strategy.
  • Deliver online sessions and workshops to learners, and ensure they are full prepped for observations and assignment completions.
  • Commute to office on non-delivery days.
  • Monitor assignment submissions and ensure learners meet submission deadlines.
  •  Marking and assessing learner work and ensuring timely and quality constructive feedback, allowing them to improve and prepare for the dynamic work environment.
  • Managing a caseload of up to 50 learners and providing tailored support.
  • Organising and conducting external observations in school sites.
  • Use learner assessment results to tailor and differentiate lesson plans.
  • Utilise feedback provided by the managerial and quality team to develop delivery and assessing quality.
  • Maintain a minimum 90% engagement rate with learners, and 85% learner success rates.
  • Participate in regular CPD activities and document this in CPD log.
  • Stay commercially aware, understand contractual requirements, and be willing to adjust delivery to ensure they are met.
  • Create awareness among participants about our company’s vision of equal opportunities and values.
  • Support participants to enable them to sustain employment through good practice and overcome any foreseen barriers.
  • Commuting to offices around the London area to deliver courses based on business needs.

Key Skills Required:

  • Ability to design and develop courses in line with aims, outcomes and guided learning hour requirements.
  • Experience in conducting observations and identifying criteria met.
  • Ability to manage large caseloads of learners over a long period of time.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to provide support to learners and adapting teaching methods where required.
  • Knowledge of delivering virtual sessions.
  • Ability to manage time well and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with learners, colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain rapport with learners by demonstrating strong communication skills.
  • Ability to provide constructive and quality feedback to learners.
  • Committed to ongoing professional development.
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and strategies.
  • Ability to ensure equal opportunities by carrying out the duties of the job with reasonable adjustments where necessary.
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of drive and focus, confidently navigating a target-driven environment that supports commercial growth.
  • Computer, data entry, and MS Office skills knowledge required.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Knowledge in delivering STLS courses.
  • Adaptable and willing to meet the demands of the business.
  • Knowledge of working with learners with additional learning needs, and newly unemployed individuals.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of learners whilst ensuring achievement and retention rates are maintained.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to build rapport with both team members and colleagues.
  • Innovative and confident in curriculum and lesson planning.
  • Willing to commute to different London locations to deliver sessions.
  • Keen to develop professionally and undertake CPD sessions where required.
