We’re looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as an IPS Business Administrator focused on the Work Wise contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.
What will the apprentice be doing?
- Provide administrative support to the IPS employability team specifically focused on the Work Wise programme.
- Maintain accurate client databases by updating information on participants in the Work Wise programme.
- Maintain and strengthen the referral network established with healthcare professionals and job centers for the Work Wise programme.
- This may involve initiating contact, following up on leads, and building relationships with external partners.
- Work collaboratively with the team to gather information required to complete tasks for participants in the Work Wise programme.
- Proactively chase key documentation and upload it to the relevant database for participants in the Work Wise programme.
- Deal with enquiries efficiently and in line with agreed service standards, referring complex issues to the manager or relevant expert.
- Maintain and effectively use office systems, keeping property files and computer databases up to date for participants in the Work Wise programme.
- Process incoming referrals efficiently and accurately, ensuring all necessary participant information is captured in the client database.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and job centres to cultivate a strong referral network, enhancing client pathways to employment
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- You will achieve the Level 3 Business Admin Apprenticeship Standard.
- You will be assigned a mentor who will work with you on a one to one basis.
- There will be workshops that you need to attend remotely via Zoom.
- In-house training will be given to support specifics of the role.
