Hours: 37.5 hours a week

Working Week: Monday – Friday

A fantastic opportunity to join the team at Vanguard Logistics. You will learn all areas of the export process including arranging export customs clearance, advising clients of vessel rolls and obtaining sailing schedules and learning to handle bookings.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Chasing clients for shipping instructions
  • Associating consignments to container master with customs
  • Arranging export customs clearance
  • Advising clients of vessel rolls
  • Obtaining sailing schedules and updating sailing schedules
  • Learning to handle bookings
  • Arranging transport and collections
  • General shipping duties including liaising with overseas offices and agents

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • You will achieve your Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship
  • There are workshops that you will need to attend via Zoom
  • You will have a mentor for one-to-one teaching and learning
  • In-house training will be given to support specifics of the role
  • Functional Skills if required
