Customer Service/Admin Apprentice – Commisceo Primary Care Solutions

Hours: 37.5 hours a week

Working Week: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

You will be based at the Basildon Surgery learning all things patient-related. You will also learn how the back office systems are administered. You will be working alongside our friendly team completing a variety of duties.

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Answering telephone calls
  • Taking messages or transferring calls to the appropriate staff member
  • Monitoring emails
  • Document scanning
  • Stock monitoring – clinical and non-clinical
  • Learning our clinical systems and once trained completing day-to-day tasks using this – such as booking appointments, clearing tasks, etc
  • Working in the Basildon Surgery on reception
  • Booking appointments and dealing with patients face to face

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

  • You will achieve the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship standard.
  • There are workshops that you need to attend via Teams.
  • You will have a mentor who will support you on a one to one basis.
  • In-house training will be given to support specifics of the role.
