After 15 inspiring years leading Talentino, Jenny Connick FRSA will be retiring as Founder and Managing Director on 12th June. Jenny has been a driving force in shaping inclusive early career development for young people with SEND. Her contribution to the sector and the lives she has impacted is nothing short of remarkable.
As Talentino! Ltd enters its next chapter under Get Set UK, we’re delighted to announce that Toby Connick will be stepping into the role of Head of Inclusive Careers, continuing Jenny’s mission to create a future of possibility and purpose for all young people. Significantly more young people now have access to a broader range of opportunities than ever before, but there is still work to be done, particularly around engaging more employers to offer these opportunities.
Talentino joined the Get Set UK family in 2024, bringing with it a bold vision that aligns perfectly with our vision: to create a world where opportunities are equally accessible to all. Together, we’re now scaling that impact to reach even more young people across the UK.
We want to express our deepest thanks to Jenny for her pioneering leadership, and we send our warmest wishes to her and her husband as they begin this well-earned new chapter.
Jenny said it best in her farewell: “To our partners, colleagues, schools, and the entire SEND and careers community: thank you for making the last 15 years (of my 50-year career) the most rewarding. Let’s all keep the mission alive – for every young person who deserves a future of possibility and purpose”.
We’re proud to do just that.
