We wouldn’t be able to help and support our learners without our amazing team and the wonderful work they do every day to provide every person who visits us, either in one of our offices or online, the support, guidance and training they need to find rewarding work and move their life forward.
Our Annual Employee Awards recognise our team members who demonstrate and deliver our company values Develop, Inspire, Challenge, Empower and Sustain and are nominated by their colleagues and managers.
Develop: Audrey Nsama, Employment Advisor
Audrey’s dedication to her continuous learning has truly set her apart. She has embraced a culture of knowledge sharing with the team and her willingness to share her new knowledge has elevated her colleagues’ skills.
Inspire: Mark Etheridge, Senior Operations Manager
Mark has been an inspirational manager and positively challenged his team to achieve results that allow Get Set to be leaders in the sector as well as setting a high standard for excellence within Get Set.
Challenge: Joy Johnson-Babatunde, Employment Advisor
Joy set herself the challenge of ensuring that every participant she works with understands the support available to them to get a step closer to work. This technique has helped a great number of participants find employment.
Empower: Joint winners Rajani Karthik, Employment Advisor & Mark Phoenix, Employability Tutor
Rajani consistently demonstrates an unwavering dedication to empowering job seekers in our community and her exceptional dedication to empowerment aligns seamlessly with our core values.
Mark shows great enthusiasm and energy through his flexible teaching techniques, he is always looking to engage with his learners. Instead of viewing obstacles as roadblocks, he sees them as opportunities for growth.
Sustain: Shaza El Agabani, Work Support Employment Advisor.
Shaza keeps in contact with her participants to see if they are still in work, provides customers with Information, Advice and Guidance) to ensure they are on track to remain in work and supports them with second job opportunities if they are not.
