Job Purpose

  • Actively complete job search sessions.
  • Awareness of sector base – specific job search sessions.
  • Business Development – Employer Vacancy Sourcing.
  • Supporting applications from our customer base.
  • Arranging interviews when required.
  • A strong understanding of the local labour market.
  • Encouraging and supporting workshops (Employer Vacancies).
  • Strength in business development.
  • Good stakeholder management and engagement skills.
  • Very good attendance and time keeping necessary.
  • Admin – Letter sending appointment invite / reminder.
  • Working with a team of trainers on projects supporting newly unemployed individuals.
  • Efficient in time management and demonstrate effective planning and organising skills to ensure all  tasks are completed in time.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and motivate others to develop/grow industry-specific knowledge and skills.
  • Confidently support customers and enable them to feel more empowered & confident.
  • Work closely with internal departments to prepare candidates for relevant vacancies, equipping them with skills, and all-round support, like admin tasks such as confirming attendance & absences for activities.
  • To conduct Group Job Networking Sessions throughout the day.
  • Meet KPI expectations of the contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and delivering accredited Employability and Customer Service courses.
  • Have a flexible approach to learning and adjust style of delivery to engage with learners.
  • High levels of engagement required to meet the agreed KPI’s.
  • Be commercially aware and understand contractual requirements and be willing to adjust delivery to ensure requirements are being met.
  • Provide participants with quality constructive feedback that allows them to improve and prepare for the dynamic work environment.
  • Provide support to the participants to enable them to sustain employment through good practice and overcome any foreseen barriers.
  • Promote company’s vision of equal opportunities and values.
  • Ability to work remotely with Get Set UK Offices / Venues as and when required.

Key Skills Required

  • Effectively teach and assess Employability and Customer Service learners’ skills.
  • Establish and maintain a rapport with learners and customise your teaching approach as appropriate.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with learners to maximise retention.
  • To support and provide administration support when required.
  • Impeccable diary management.
  • Ensure learners achieve qualification within timeframe set on contract.
  • Ability to carry out the duties of the job with reasonable adjustments when necessary.
  • Ability to seek out solutions to problems and creatively reinforce learning.
  • Strong training delivery, time management, planning and organisational skills.
  • High level of initiative and motivation to drive learning.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Capacity to adapt and innovate, when necessary to stimulate learning and provide learning opportunity to learners.
  • Be commercially aware and understand contractual requirements and be willing to adjust delivery to ensure requirements are being met.
  • Be proficient in basic computer skills and use of Microsoft Office.

Ideal Candidate

  • You must have a teaching qualification and a minimum of 3 years teaching experience.
  • Identifying and supporting individual learning needs.
  • Experience of working with learners with additional learning needs.
  • Experience of remote delivery and teaching / virtual learning environments
  • Have a flexible approach to learning and adjust style of delivery to engage with learners.
  • High levels of engagement required.
